Important Information

Please be aware that while we try to ship to as many locations as possible, there are some territories which we cannot service currently. If your country is not in our dropdown list, please contact us BEFORE PLACING ANY BIDS to find out options first.

We do not ship to:

EU: France, Italy, Poland, Sweden

Rest of World: Belarus, Canada, China, Russia, UAE, Ukraine

Always ensure that you have read and understood the shipping and insurance terms before placing any bids.

VAT

VAT on shipping costs for U.K. customers is charged at 20%.

NO VAT is charged for shipments leaving the U.K.

WORLDWIDE CUSTOMS CHARGES & TAXES

Please make sure that you know the laws, import customs charges and taxes for the country or region that you are importing to. We do not accept any responsibility for any customs charges, local taxes or fees associated with importing goods bought at our auction. No refunds will be given for any goods with unpaid import duties, fees or local taxes, including items returned to us as a result of non-payment.

INSURANCE

Shipping insurance (Loss & Breakage) is added at 3% of the hammer price or a minimum of £16, whichever applies first and as standard. Please be aware that if the lot is not insured, no claim can be lodged against leakage or damage in transit due to the varying age of bottles and the condition of bottle seals.

ARRANGING YOUR OWN SHIPPING

It is possible to arrange your own shipping. Please contact us BEFORE placing any bids to make sure that it is possible. For this service you will need to send us the shipping labels, customs documents and collection information. Please note that a small packing fee will apply, the amount will depend on the number of bottles for collection.

SHIPMENTS TO USA

Please note – we currently only ship to the following US states:

AK, CA, CT, DE, FL, ID, LA, MA, MD, ME, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, TX, VA, VT, WY and Washington DC.

Make sure that your State is on the list before placing any bids.

When USA customers select insurance at checkout, please be advised that the shipment is only insured for transit within the U.K. to third party logistics. This means that the shipment will not be insured after it leaves the third party depot for the USA.

SHIPPING ESTIMATES

Our shipping estimates are based on a standard bottle at 2kg. If the volumetric weight is greater owing to the box/packaging, an additional cost will apply and will be payable by the Buyer.
