How do I bid/buy from your auction?

First, you need to REGISTER your account with us, this will cost £5 + VAT. Once you've spotted the bottle(s) of your choice you can bid. Each bottle has a starting bid of £15, after that incremental bids increase. You can place a maximum bid by clicking BID, scroll down fixed bid increments (amounts) and place the bid you're comfortable with. Check out our simple BUYING GUIDE for further information or CONTACT US.

What are the commission fees for buyers?

Buying commission fees are 10% + VAT of the total amount. Please be aware VAT is ONLY charged on the commission fee and NOT on the hammer price, unless stated otherwise. What happens when the auction is ending?

If you are bidding, the BID button will turn green if you're bid is winning. If the BID button turns red, it means you've been outbid on that lot. In the last 10 minutes of the auction, bids placed on a lot will set the time remaining on that individual lot back to 10 minutes until the timer runs out.

The timer on last 10 minutes of auction refreshes automatically, keep an eye open on your bids until timer runs out. Should the BID button stay green, it means you've won! How long do I have to complete payment?

When the auction ends you will have 3 days to make payment. Late payment will incur a late payment fee of an additional 3% + VAT Any payments due for 10 days or more will result in the account being suspended.

How much does shipping cost?

Please refer to our SHIPPING GUIDE for costs to your region. Please note that it will depend on the weight of your bottle/s and the number of bottles that you purchase. Insurance is highly recommended but not compulsory. Please note that if you do not take insurance then bottles are shipped at your own risk.

Can I bid on my own auction or ask a family member to bid on my auction lots?

Definitely not, it is against the law! Honesty and integrity are not only important to us but to our customers, whether they are buying or selling on our auction. Please check our terms & conditions for further information.
