Released in the 1970's, this 8 year old expression was the first malt whisky to be launched by Balvenie Distillery. Known as a 'Pure Malt' similarly to many bottlings from that same era, sporting the same shape of bottle as It's famous Dufftown stablemate. Bottlings from this era are now becoming harder to find in auction, a great opportunity to add an earlier Balvenie to any collection.
