N/ABottle Description
The Name of this expression tells the story of Margaret Douglas (the "Fair Maid of Galloway"), who had Balvenie Castle returned to her by the King for the yearly payment of a single red rose.
Released in 2008, this expression was available to visitors of the distillery at the end of their tour. It proved to be incredibly popular and in time extremely sought after by collectors due to their very limited numbers. Matured in traditional Oak then finished for a period in a first-fill Port Pipe then bottled at Cask strength.
One of only 426 bottles produced.
