Bottle Description

The Glendronach 15 year old was one of the most revered core range Sherry Cask expressions on the market until the distillery closed for a period of time in 1996. Billy Walker took over the distillery and by 2009 released the updated 15 year old Revival. Although the 15 year old remains to this day, the first releases of Revival were matured exclusivley in Oloroso Sherry Casks until the production of the 15 year old ceased in 2015. It was then reintroduced in 2018 but with a slight difference, it was now matured using a combination of Oloroso Sherry Casks and Pedro Ximinez. This has resulted in the earlier version of the 15 year old Revival now becoming increasingly sought after.
